The World Olive Oil Congress (OOWC) has launched a competition for the design of its first poster for the event to be held in June 2024. The initiative, which forms part of the activities of the "On the Road to the OOWC" period, is aimed at professionals from the communications sector with an interest in developing graphic design.
Those interested in participating may send only one design proposal per participant to the e-mail address info_arroba_oliveoilwc.com. The deadline for submitting entries is 15 June, from 12:00 noon onwards, and will end at 12:00 noon on 15 September.
Participants must send their posters by email in PDF or JPG format, the size must be A3 (29.7 x 42 cm) with a minimum resolution of 150 dpi (1754 x 2480 pixels).
Any images or posters with a different file format, pixel size or proportions to those indicated will not be accepted.
Once the deadline for participation has expired, the jury, made up of accredited professionals from the communications sector, will make a selection of the designs submitted, assessing their originality and creativity, and designating a shortlist of three candidates for the Organising Committee of the World Olive Oil Congress to choose the winner of the competition from among them.
As for the prize, the first #EnRutaHaciaElOOWC Graphic Contest is endowed with the amount of 1000 euros gross for the winner and gives the winner the opportunity to design the labelling of the official OOWC olive oil bottle.
