Campo y Alma Oils Stand Out at the 38th Salón Gourmets

At the Salón Gourmets, the Campo y Alma brand once again highlighted the excellence of extra virgin olive oil, one of the most iconic products of Castilla-La Mancha, protected by various Designations of Origin (DO) and Protected Geographical Indications (PGI). This event, held at the IFEMA exhibition center in Madrid, once again became the ideal showcase for displaying the quality, tradition, and innovation of the region’s olive oil sector.

At the Campo y Alma stand, visitors had the opportunity to taste top-quality extra virgin olive oils, made with native varieties and production processes that respect both sustainability and the essence of the La Mancha region. The sensory richness of these oils—with fruity aromas, herbal notes, and a perfect balance between bitterness and spiciness—reflects the commitment of local mills to excellence.

The activities organized during the fair emphasized the culinary versatility of olive oil, from expert-led tastings to cooking workshops demonstrating its use in contemporary cuisine. This active promotion not only brings the product closer to the end consumer but also strengthens its presence in both national and international markets.

On the institutional side, olive oil holds a prominent place in the Gran Selección Campo y Alma Awards, which will be held on May 16 in Mora (Toledo). This event honors the best extra virgin olive oils from the region, reinforcing their role as a cornerstone of the agri-food sector, which represents 18% of the regional GDP and leads exports with 34.2% of the total in 2024.

With its participation in the Salón Gourmets, Campo y Alma once again reinforced the prestige of Castilla-La Mancha's olive oil, establishing it as a benchmark of quality, flavor, and authenticity in the national and international agri-food sector.
