Olivogestão is joining the Olive Oil World Congress (OOWC) 2026 as a sponsor of the Scientific Poster Competition, an initiative aimed at promoting research, innovation and knowledge transfer in the international olive oil sector.
The competition forms part of the scientific programme of the OOWC, which will take place on 2 and 3 July 2026 in Lisbon, and is open to researchers, universities, technology centres and professionals from around the world carrying out work related to the production, sustainability, quality, health, innovation and marketing of olive oil.
All selected entries will be displayed during the congress in digital format, facilitating their dissemination amongst the more than 300 international professionals and experts who will be attending this leading event for the sector. Furthermore, the two best posters will have the opportunity to be presented orally to the Scientific Committee and congress attendees.
Through this sponsorship, Olivogestão reinforces its commitment to the technical and scientific development of olive growing and olive oil, supporting research talent and fostering links between science, innovation and business. The company thus shares the values of the Olive Oil World Congress, an international forum that brings together all links in the olive oil value chain to discuss the major challenges and opportunities that will shape the sector’s future.
