OOWC rolls out its internationalization by adapting its website into French

With French-speaking olive oil producing and consuming countries in mind, the Olive Oil World Congress (OOWC) has translated its website into French to provide detailed information on the event to operators interested in attending this important event, which will take place on June 26, 27 and 28, 2024 at the auditorium of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) in Madrid.

Scientific experts from French-speaking producing countries such as Morocco, Lebanon, Turkey and Tunisia have joined this important event collaborating in the development of its scientific program, outlining the themes to be developed during this event that will feature the best speakers in each subject, both nationally and internationally. Proof of this is the round table that will take place within the block entitled 'Trade and consumption' and that will deal with the 'Perspectives of the olive sector in the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean countries'. During the table will be present speakers of the stature of Wafaa El Khoury, agriculture specialist at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD); Ayça Akça, researcher at the Olive Research Institute of Tuzmir; Monji Msallem, researcher at the Olive Institute in Tunisia; and Sara Oulbi, researcher at the National Institute of Agricultural Research of Morocco.

The OOWC reminds those interested in attending the congress in any of its different modalities: general, student or half congress, with or without gala dinner, it is necessary to register through this link.

Under the slogan 'Taste it, enjoy it, it's olive oil', the OOWC counts on the collaboration of AgroBank, CIA - Agricoltori Italiani, FOOI, MSC, John Deere and the Junta de Andalucía through its brand 'Gusto del Sur' as Platinum sponsors; Grupo Interóleo, Yara International, GEA, AGQ Labs, Todolivo and Balam Agriculture as Gold sponsors; the company Kubota and SGS as Silver sponsors; Certicalidad and Agrocolor as other sponsors. Agrotec, Voz do Campo, Puglia Live, Grupo Joly and Oleo are the Media Partners of the OOWC.
